Business Constellations
Business Constellations
Two private online sessions | $450 USD
A business is never created in isolation from the person who founded it. Our relationship with money, work, success, support, responsibility and receiving is often shaped long before we ever start a company.
Business Constellations uses the principles of systemic Family Constellations to explore the less visible dynamics that may be influencing you as a founder and the business you have created. This two-session process deliberately begins with the founder before turning towards the business itself.
Session One: The Founder, Family & Money
The first session focuses on your family system and the foundations of your relationship with work, money, sustenance and success.
We may explore your relationship with your mother and father, how security and resources were experienced within your family, attitudes towards wealth or success, experiences of scarcity or loss, and unconscious loyalties that may make it difficult to receive, charge appropriately, become more successful than members of your family, or feel supported by your work.
Depending on the issue you bring, we may look at themes such as:
your relationship with money, receiving and financial security
family experiences of scarcity, wealth, loss or instability
your relationship with mother and father as it relates to support, work and sustenance
difficulty charging, receiving or holding greater levels of income
overworking, over-responsibility or feeling that everything depends upon you
guilt or discomfort around success
unconscious loyalty to family members who struggled
patterns around authority, visibility and leadership
feeling unable to fully take your place as the founder of your business
This creates the systemic foundation for our second session.
Session Two: The Business System
The second constellation focuses on the business itself.
Rather than looking primarily at your personal history, we explore the relationships between the different parts of the business and the issue you would most like to understand.
A constellation can represent elements such as the founder, business, clients, money, team members, products or services, a particular project, competitors, different strategic directions or something that appears to be obstructing growth.
This session may be useful when exploring:
difficulty attracting or retaining the right clients
inconsistent income or unexplained resistance around growth
your relationship with the business itself
pricing, receiving and the flow of money through the business
team, partnership or leadership dynamics
whether particular services or projects belong within the future of the business
competing directions or difficult business decisions
visibility and expansion
recurring problems that have resisted conventional solutions
a sense that something within the business is simply “not moving”
Business Constellations is not a replacement for financial, legal or strategic business advice. Instead, it offers a different perspective: one that asks what relationships, loyalties and systemic dynamics may be operating beneath the problem you can already see.
By working first with the founder's family system and then with the business itself, we can distinguish more clearly between what belongs to the founder, what belongs to the family system, and what belongs to the business.
This two-session process is particularly suited to founders, entrepreneurs, practitioners and business owners who sense that the obstacles they are encountering cannot be explained entirely by strategy.
